I heard that the colors for Christmas this year were teal and red. I love working with deco mesh and I found some beautiful, bright red that complimented all of my teal supplies perfectly. The teal stands atop the red, almost like water in a desert–which, considering I live in Utah and we almost always have white Christmas', seems a little backwards to me. After I found the red, I uncovered a light brown ribbon with sparkly teal poke-a-dots and (as my daughter can attest to) I melted. So I added some teal deco mesh as well and to add a bit of that Christmas flare, some teal holly berries and glittery snowflakes. It ended up becoming another bright and fun wreath that I loved to create!
